Grey Francolin known in Hind as Titar call ==pattla,pattetar repetitive calls during breading season very shy bird hidden in scrub land, grace, agricultural fields found all over India. The bird is still trap for selling/eating. You may see them some time roosting on a tree and feel cheated as you try to search the bird on land but they will roost on tree and fly away without giving a chance to capture on camera. Somebody has left this idol of Sai Baba in Central Ridge area (near Karol Bagh). I was lucky to capture this very shy bird ===== October 2014, Delhi
