Dear Reader I located a flock of Black headed Munia in the 1st week of August 2012 grassland of River Yamuna Delhi. After my return to home I searched it in the book of [ Birds of Northern India written by Richard Grimmett OXFORD published in 2003 ] but this bird was not maching with the picture shown in the book .Then I went through the book written by SAlim Ali Titled [The book of Indian Birds ] I found it ,However the location is not mentioned as UP ,Haryana, Delhi,Punjab . I feel my search for birds in Delhi has just started . Hope U will enjoy.
