Black-necked Stork


Black-necked Stork===  In Hindi  ((  Loha-Sarang laklak ) Less no all over India because it require high trees for nesting, unfortunately Big/ high Trees are being cut for commercial purposes,widening of roads which made it Vulnerable.Identification mark===  Red legs, Black and white wings,Black Neck, huge black bill found in river banks , wetland, wet agriculture field searching preferred fish but also like to eat frogs, crabs,snakes.. Very difficult to see it in Delhi. Sometime it makes  the Delhi Zoo as Home particularly in winter.  U may see it near Yamuna  or Agrai field of Najafgarh, Bawana areas.==== Photo Najafgarh Drain, 8th March 2015
